Brendon Urie had told interviewers the new album was a mix of Beyoncé beats and Sinatra vocals, people laughed, but he wasn't wrong. It's the perfect combination that we never knew we needed. The song is about looking back on a part of your life that's over, thinking about possible futures and appreciating the present.
It's one of those songs that you can't help but move to, not only that but it really showcases Brendon's voice. For many fans of Panic! they'll know just how brilliant his voice is and the brilliant range he possesses, but I think that this song perfectly encapsulates every thing about him and the band.
With the line-up of the band changing so much over the past few years it means every album has us guessing and with each change we question just what the next thing will sound like. They should definitely stick with this, because it's brilliant. I can't wait to get my hands on their album; keep an eye out.
